History:

Favre-Racouchot syndrome: is a chronic solar degenerative elastosiss of the skin. It is characterized by irregularly thickened skin with comedones and follicular cysts. It usually involves the skin around the orbits which is often studded with numerous comedones. It is usually confined to facial skin and is bilaterally symmetrical, but unilateral and circumscribed forms have been reported.

This 83-year-old man has had thickening and wrinkling of the facial skin, numerous comedones on the nose and less on the lateral sides of the face. The nose seems to be rhinophymatous and it was studded with yellowish follicular cysts in addition to the comedones.
