13 yrs boy came to me for a red scaly lesion on his right eye-brow area with alopecia
and hypopigmentation. As scaly I did scrapping for fungus and found positive. Sensation
okay. Therefor leprosy unlikely
P/D: TINEA
Treated with oral and topical Terbinafin

A unilateral red scaly rash like this is the PMs PET (AL) mnemonic. Always scrape these for microscopy and culture for fungus. If bilateral you might have considered seborrhoeic dermatitis in your differential or psoriasis although the later is unusual on the face.
