History: This keen gardener bought some mouldy hay to mulch her garden from the farmer in the other case of sporotrichosis. She suffered the initial lesion on her finger and subsequently developed these sporotrichoid nodules further up her forearm as the fungal organism spread through the lymphatics. She responded to a saturated solution of Potassium iodide but needed Itraconazole orally to clear the infection.
