History:

This 5-year-old boy presented with multiple mollusca contagiosa over his face - 3 months duration.

He had a single molluscum lesion on the perianal area and had developed an eczematous reaction perianally. Molluscum dermatitis is known to occur on the face and trunk as erythema, scaling, and hypopigmentation.

This form of perianal molluscum dermatitis has not been reported earlier, to the presentor's knowledge.
