History:

A slightly pruritic, gradually progressing, circinate, reddish-brown, scaly patch/plaque (about 10 cm in diameter) with an active border involving the flexor aspect of the forearm of two months duration. KOH smear of scales revealed hyphae and spores. Topical miconazole cream twice daily cured the lesion within 3-4 weeks.
