History: Rosacea is a chronic and progressive dermatosis characterized by the development of erythema, papules and pustules, telangiectasia, and potential hyperplasia over the centrofacial area.  Ocular problems( intermittent inflammatory conjunctivitis)occur in at least 50 percent of patients with rosacea. Common triggers of flushing associated with rosacea, include exposure to the sun, cold weather, sudden emotion , hot beverages, and alcohol consumption.
