History:

A middle-aged lady with type 2 DM since 10 years presented with multiple, asymptomatic, brownish, atrophic plaques on both shins of three years duration. Diabetic deremopathy (shin spots) are considered as the most common cutaneous manifestation of DM and may be encountered in up to 50% of diabetics.
