History:

Purpuric EM is occasionally encountered in dermatological practice as in this case with an asymptomatic, bilateral symmetrical, purpuric patches and spots confined to palmar and dorsal surfaces of both hands of one week duration. There were no history of preceding infection or previous drug intake. The rash persisted for three weeks and disappeared.
