Differential Diagnosis

History: A 38-year-old man with bad psychological backgrounds presented with severely pruritic, bilateral, skin-colored, hypertrophic nodules and plaques with hyperpigmented borders on both legs of two years duration with exacerbations and remissions. Prurigo nodularis was differentiated from lichen planus hypertrophicus based on clinical appearance and skin biopsy histological findings.
