History: A middle-aged woman presented with sudden onset of severely pruritic bilateral symmetrical extensive erythematous papular rash confined to the dorsal surfaces of the hands and forearms of five days duration. On close examination, many papules had an iris-like appearance. No previous history of preceding herpetic infection or drug intake.
