Differential Diagnosis

History: Nevus spilus or also called Speckled lentiginous nevus occurs approximately in 2% of the population. It may be small in diameter or quite large and may follow segmental distribution. The presented patient has had segmental nevus spilus involving the right shoulder area with tan patch studded or speckled with smaller, darker macules since early childhood. This type of distribution may be referred to as Zosteriform lentigo.
