Differential DiagnosisHistory:
A 50-year-old man who is deaf and mute since birth has had multiple light brown macules and patches since birth. At age of puberty he developed many skin-coloured, soft, dome-shaped nodules mainly on the trunk and face. These nodules increased in size and number with increasing age. He has no similar family condition.
