Differential DiagnosisHistory:
Mucoceles usually occur on the mucosal surface of the lower lip but may involve other mucosal parts of the mouth like the ventral surface of the tongue as in this patient who presented with a painless, translucent, cystic lesion about one centimeter in diameter of six months duration.
