Differential DiagnosisHistory: A 40-year-old woman who is working out-door has had asymptomatic red scaly plaques involving the nose with violaceous scaly patches on the lips of 4 years duration. Slight scarring near the tip of the nose is evident on examination. The lesions clinically are consistent with the diagnosis of DLE.
