Differential DiagnosisHistory: An acute attack of guttate psoriasis occurs often after a streptococcal throat infection in a young individual. The lesions are red and scaly ,seldom itchy and usually are seen in covered areas of the body. The overall prognosis is good ,many cases clearing within two to three months without treatment.Sunlight will help it clear more quickly.
