Differential DiagnosisHistory: This is a form of benign late onset birth mark; typically occuring around puberty (early teens) as an irregular well demarcated hyperpigmented patch, occurring on one side of the body only. The area may expand and develop into large and hairy, but remains fixed in site. It occurs over the upper trunk, buttocks or shoulders.
