Differential Diagnosis

History: Neurofibromatosis is an autosomal dominant neurogenetic disorder that can involve almost any organ system including the bones, the nervous system, soft tissue, and the skin.   Two major subtypes of neurofibromatosis, are neurofibromatosis 1 and neurofibromatosis 2.  A third variant is known as segmental neurofibromatosis.
