History: Mycosis fungoides (MF) My patient is 44 years old lady who presented with some plaques and patch for a year, and this was itching. Started on her upper extremities and then involved face; cheeks and forehead as can been in the image. No other complaint. Her investigation revealed mild anemia, HB: 9.1 gm, and ESR of 50 mm/hr, apart from this nothing. And diagnosis was confirmed by skin biopsy to be MF. MF is the most common form of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL). It generally affects the skin, but may progress internally over time. MF means "mushroom-like fungal disease”, because it has a mushroom-like appearance. The etiology of mycosis fungoides is unknown Patients present with patch and plaque which resembles at first eczema or psoriasis, and this may make diagnosis difficult. Diagnosis is generally accomplished through a skin biopsy, preferably multiple. MF may also progress, to involve nodes, blood and internal organs, or transform into a higher-grade lymphoma.
