Differential DiagnosisHistory: A primary patch, is notice by the patient in right arm with some itching, and later on get generalised all over the trunk following skin dermatome giving the characterized Christmas tree pattern. The patch is called as herald patch, and measures 1-2 cm in diameter. It is characterized as oval or round flaky with a central, wrinkled, pink salmon-colored area and a dark red peripheral zone. The areas are separated by a collarette of fine scales. The herald patch is usually located on the trunk but can be seen on the neck or extremities.
