Differential DiagnosisHistory: Pearly Penile Papules also called papillae coronae glandis, hirsuties papillaris Penis. These tiny white papules are located at the junction between the glans and the coronal sulcus. They may occationally be elongated, mimicking tiny hairs hence the name hirsuties. Some patients may have only a few lesions, others hundreds, sometimes in multiple rows. Microscopic examination is not necessary but reveals most lesions to be angiofibromas. No treatment is needed. Some extremely concerned patients insist on therapy, careful laser ablation is the best approach.
