History: Tinea pedis is a dermatophytic infection of the plantar surface and toe webs and is the most common dermatophyte infection. Tinea pedis is generally caused by anthropophilic fungi. The most common organism is T.rubrum, followed by T.mentagrophytes and E.floccosum. There are three presentations of tinea pedis: moccasin, interdigital and inflammatory. In moccasin tinea pedis, one or both plantar surfaces develop erythema, scale, and crusting. A 37-year-old male with chief presentation of well-demarcated circular, erythema, scale and crusting on right plantar surface. Patient was treated with combined topical therapy ( salicylic acid 3%, sufur 5% in 100g base vaseline). Recovery is almost 90% after 3 weeks application (twice a day), the only complaint is the bad smell due to the sulfur compund.
