Differential DiagnosisHistory: There are at least four different patterns of napkin dermatitis, although there is overlap between these patterns. These include irritant dermatitis, candidiasis, seborrheic dermatitis, and psoriasiform napkin dermatitis. Irritant and candidiasis types are the most common.
