Differential DiagnosisHistory:
Much of the 'hypertrophy' in the hypertrophic variant of lichen planus, is actually secondary to lichenification caused by repeated rubbing or scratching. Lower extremities are most commonly involved. High potency topical steroids under occlusion are the mainstay of treatment.
