Differential DiagnosisHistory: Patients with hypertrophic lichen planus present with thick hyperkeratotic plaques, commonly found on the anterior surface of the legs. In this particular case, the patient's left leg was treated with some topical corrosive by a quack several months earlier. Marked atrophy and hypepigmentation of the left leg is evident.
