Differential DiagnosisHistory:
Mixed connective-tissue disease is a rare systemic autoimmune disease with overlapping features of at least two connective tissue diseases, including systemic lupus erythematosus, systemic sclerosis, polymyositis, dermatomyositis, and rheumatoid arthritis. Antibodies to U1 ribonucleoprotein are present in high titres.
