Differential DiagnosisHistory:
50 year old patient presented with a very itchy widespread vesicular rash limited to exposed surfaces. She had been to the beach 3 days before and stayed until dusk. She has an allergy to sandflies. I saw her 5 days after she was started on prednisolone , antihistamines and a course of cephalexin. I continued with the same treatment and saw her a week later.
Papulovesicular variant of Polymorphous light eruption would be a clinical differential.
