Differential DiagnosisHistory:
This patient had chronic lymphatic leukaemia and as such was immunosupressed. Early erysipelas due to Strep pyogenes gives a spreading painful erythema over the cheeks and nose but later there may be blisters and sometimes superficial peeling like this. Seeing this without a history you would also consider a tinea infection and discoid lupus.
