Differential DiagnosisHistory: Cutaneous sarcoidosis can be the presenting feature of a serious systemic disease.Forehead lesions are often annular like this but may also be scaly.Sarcoidosis is a great mimic of other diseases and can present as papules,plaques,nodules,subcutaneous nodules,infiltrates in scars,erythroderma,ichthyosiform,hypopigmentation and scalp alopecia.The lesions are usually asymptomatic.Biopsy shows the characteristic naked tubercle made up of epitheliod histiocytes and some Langhans giant cells.
