- 40 year female presented with rash to the forehead, perioral and chin , was having mild red rash with small to the the above mentioned area, using novosone cream but no change in rash, has seen LMO, who told it's not a eczema , its Rosacea and prescribed her Rozex
She applied Rozex over affected area and next morning woke up with this rash . She has basic blood test including (FBE, UE and CRP) which was NAD , was started on IV antibiotics and pending for opinion from dermatologist.

This is a florid perioral dermatitis from withdrawal of the Novasone cream rather than an allergic reaction to Rosex. I would have started her on Minomycin 50mgs BD and some 2% sulfur in sorbolene cream. It will take a month to settle properly. Better also to swab the pustules. (Submitted By: Dr Ian McColl)
