PC: ulcerating lesions to abdomen, general deterioration
Admitted under Haematology
Hx: 3 month history of worsening erythematous ulcerating lesions to abdomen. Hearing loss. Weakness. Decreased energy. Weight loss.
PMHx:
?Mycosis fungoides
AF
Ix:
Skin Biopsies: Original Skin biopsies in South Africa (1 year earlier) favoured Mycosis fungoides. These biopsies were lost due to technical error in pathology in SA. Hospital in SA stated that biopsy had been sent for gene rearrangement studies and the result was positive for MF.
Patient also had TB lung subsequently
