Differential DiagnosisHistory:
Elderly man who had had this lesion for years, while it slowly enlarged and thickened. Just to make sure it was, indeed, a seborrheic keratosis, a small biopsy was performed. The patient didn't care about unsightly cosmesis; he was just interested in confirming it was benign, and not a melanoma. He refused all therepeutic suggestions.
