Differential DiagnosisHistory: Cellulitis is an acute infection of dermis and subcutaneous tissues characterized by erythema, edema, warmth, and tenderness of the affected area. Most common causative agents are group A streptococci and staphylococcus aureus. Regional lymphadenopathy and fever may be associated. The margin of cellulitis is not palpable.
