Differential DiagnosisHistory: Chromoblastomycosis is a slow growing annular verrucous lesion which begins as a papule at a site of injury usually on the lower limbs.It is characteristically seen in agricultural workers in the tropics or subtropics.There may be central scarred healing of the slowly expanding lesion.It is sometimes known as verrucous dermatitis.Treatment is slow and difficult.Itraconazole in high doses for 6 months can be effective.
