Differential DiagnosisHistory: These pictures show a particularly florid case of lichen planus involving the mucosal surfaces as well as the palms and abdomen.Ulcerative lichen planus is common on the mucosal surfaces.Surrounding the red eroded area is some white reticulated epithelium.Oral lichen planus on its own should make you think of a drug cause.
