Differential DiagnosisHistory: Peutz-Jeghers syndrome has hyperpigmented macules on the lips and oral mucosa in association with polyps of the small intestine.The malignant transformation rate of these polyps is about 3 %.Patients with Peutz-Jeghers also have an increased risk of developing other malignancies particularly breast and gynae malignancies in women.The condition is inherited as an autosomal dominant.
