Differential DiagnosisHistory:
It is an annular whitish or greyish white ring seen around cornea and is usually bilateral. The incidence of arcus senilis approaches 100% with increasing age (i.e., it is more common the older you get). It does not interfere with visual function. Rarely it is a sign of other disease (Hyperlipidemia) when it appears in the very young.
