Differential DiagnosisHistory:
Perniosis is an abnormal reaction to cold characterised by the development of bluish-red, edematous, painful nodular inflammatory swellings mostly on the dorsal aspect of the fingers and toes. Lower legs, thighs, ears and nose may also be affected.
