Differential DiagnosisHistory:
A middle-aged woman presented with papules and pustules on an erythematous background involved the butterfly region of the face of three years duration with remissions and exacerbations. Oral doxycycline + 1% Metronidazole (Metrogel) gave acceptable remissions on many occasions.
