Differential DiagnosisHistory:
The usual sites of erythema ab igne are the legs and forearms, however the presented case is a young adult female who has the habbit of sitting very close to fireplace with her back reclinig toward the source of heat. She had reticulated hyperpigmentation on the lower half of the back of six months duration. The condition developed after a cold winter season.
