Differential DiagnosisHistory:
A middle-aged woman gave history of long use of topical corticosteroid on the face for a pruritic red scaly rash for more than six months with partial improvements and exacerbations. O/E an erythematous scaly rash with more active border involved most of the face was seen. KOH examination of scales yielded dermatophytes. Excellent response to oral griseofulvin and topical clotrimazole for six weeks was obtained.
