Young adult female on chronic infliximab infusion therapy for Crohn's disease developed deep-seated pain and tenderness on right flank for two days. On the third day, developed "rash" in the same area. The eruption, consisting of grouped blisters on erythematous base, is consistent with herpes zoster (shingles) involving a mid-thoracic dermatome. She responded well to valacyclovir therapy.
