History:

A middle-aged woman presented with painful and tender bilateral red nodules on the legs associated with bilateral knee and ankle joint pain of 2-3 weeks duration. Serological investigations and joint x-rays were normal apart from slightly increased ESR. Skin biopsy was consistent with EN.
