Differential DiagnosisHistory:
Erythematous scaly patch involved the frontal area of the scalp associated with localized non scarring alopecia of three months duration. Plucked hairs examined directly under light microscpoe yielded dermatophytes. Cure obtained through 6-week-course of oral griseofulvin therapy.
