Differential DiagnosisHistory: This 35-year-old woman presented with three year history of recurrent eruption of multiple linear bruises mostly on the face and distal extremities. The bruises which appeared spontaneously without any apparent inciting factor, were soon covered by scabs and healed without scarring but with postinflammatory hyperpigmentation. The eruption was neither pruritic nor photosensitive.
