Differential DiagnosisHistory:
A known case of SLE with renal involvement on immunosuppressive therapy presented with an erythematous slightly scaly butterfly rash of two weeks duration. Some areas of the face although are sun exposed e.g. the dorsum of the nose were unexpectedly not involved by the rash.
