Differential DiagnosisHistory: The elderly man in the images had a lifelong history of excessive sun exposure as he had been a farm worker throughout his life. He presented with several years history of developing a photosensitive and pruritic eruption on the face, neck, upper chest, dorsa of the hands and forearms comprised of multiple erythematous infiltrated discrete and confluent plaques.The following case from Dermatology Online Journal gives a good description of the causes and workup of this condition.
