History:

A 9-year-old boy had been diagnosed with lipoid proteinosis since age of 2 years. Now he presents with a characteristic face, a great portion of which has been replaced with acne-like scars giving the face a shiny waxy appearance. The patient also suffered hoarseness of voice and difficulty in moving his woody tongue.
