Differential DiagnosisHistory:
A young adult male had red scaly rash bathing large portion of the trunk of more than six months duration. The patient had used topical steroid with improvement of itching and rash but later on the rash extended to involve major part of the trunk. O/E, the patch was bounded by an active scaly border from which scales showed fungal growth on KOH mount preparation.
