Differential DiagnosisHistory:
At the time of regualr skin survey, this elderly woman presenteed with asymptomatic, bright red, slightly scaly patch on the uppermost, out quadrant of her right pendulous breast. Differential diagnosis included superficial basal cell carcinoma (which is what was revelaed by biopsy), squamous cell carcinoma in-situ, and Paget's disease. The lesion responded to 5% topical imiquimod used for 6 weeks, and healed with almost no scar.
