Differential DiagnosisHistory:
Based on a wrong diagnosis (mechanical intertrigo) this patient had been treated with potent topical corticosteroid for more than two month. After a period of exacerbations and partial remissiopns on topical cs the patient presented with itchy red scaly plaques with slightly elevated active borders on both thighs. KOH preparation was positive for dermatophytes and the patient had been cured with oral griseofulvin for 6 weeks.
